03-08-2010 Investiture Ceremony
Investiture Ceremony of the school was held on 3 August 2010 in the senior wing. The Head Boy and the Head girl along with the Captains and Vice Captains of the four houses and the various class Prefects took pledge to perform their duties sincerely and work as a team to make the school attain great heights. 30-07-2010 FLAG MAKING COMPETITION
Flag Making Competition was organized for classes III – V. The students made beautiful flags and displayed great feelings of patriotism. 30-07-2010 ONE ACT PLAY COMPETITION
One Act play competition was organised for classes VI – VIII. The participants showcased their talent and acting skills through the plays which mesmerised the audience. 28-05-2010 CBSE CLASS X RESULTS 2010
The School Management, Principal and Staff heartily congratulate all the students and their parents, for 100% (Qual) Class X CBSE Secondary School Examination results 2010. Toppers of the School in aggregate (CGPA)are:- 1st Shruti Rajan 9.6, 2nd Aayushee Yadav 9.4, 3rd Aleena Eugene 9.2.

14-02-2010 WINTER CARNIVAL
The most awaited Winter Carnival was held on 14 Feb 10 in the Senior Wing of the School. It drew a large crowd. The young and the old enjoyed playing numerous games at the various game stalls and had their fill at a large variety of sumptuous and mouth watering food available at the food stalls. It was a pleasure to see the young enthusiasts dressed in beautiful attires compete in the Baby Show and the Fancy Dress Competition which was the big attraction of the day. Many exciting rides were enjoyed by the children. The draw of lots took place at the end making the carnival a grand success.

14-12-2009 PARASAILING
'Adventures are a part of student's life'. Children openly welcome anything new and exciting. This was the reason why a great number of children right from M-I till Class-VI, participated in the Parasailing Activity held at Leisure Valley on 14th and 15th Dec 09. There were one to eight launches and height of one launch was about 45-50 feet from the ground. Children as well as teachers enjoyed the activity and had a great experience.

05-12-2009 ANNUAL FUNCTION
Conserve, nurture and maintain the balance of the Five Elements, the Panchatattva bestowed upon Man was the theme of the Annual Function of American Public School held on December 05, 2009 in the Senior Wing of the School. The function started with the lighting of the lamp and the recital of the shlokas. Students of class IX dressed in the colours of each of the elements introduced the five elements through a well choreographed dance sequence. It was followed by a wide array of programmes based on each of the five elements namely Earth, Water, Air, Fire & Space. The Montessori tiny tots dressed in their vibrant costumes presented items based on Earth, Air while the senior school students presented skit song & dances on Fire, Space & enthralled the audience. The Principal Mrs. Indu Shastri read out the school Annual Report and informed the audience about the progress of the school. The Vote of Thanks was given by the Chairman, Mr. S.K. Trehan who lauded the sincerest and dedicated efforts of the students and staff members in presenting a wonderful show.

31-10-2009 ANNUAL EXHIBITION
Creativity and imagination have no limitations. This was perceptible in the Annual Exhibition organized by the school in the senior wing on 31.10.09. The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Chairperson of the school Mr. S.K. Trehan. The exhibits of all the subjects were displayed in a very orderly and attractive manner. From Incredible India to the World of Science, from Strings of Indian Music to the Conglomeration of Languages, every corner was drawing attention. The children truly came out with their best to present their ideas with great clarity and confidence. They explained their minds to every visitor and answered to all their queries. The parents were overwhelmed with joy seeing the great effort on the part of the children, under the guidance of the teachers. There was a spark of appreciation in each eye. The principal Mrs. Indu Shastri congratulated the staff and the students for their excellent team work in displaying a wonderful amalgamation of knowledge and creativity.

13-06-2009 SUMMER CAMP "SYNERGY 2009"
A Summer Camp, aptly named ‘ Synergy 2009 ‘ was organized at the American Montessori Public School from 18 May to 13 June 2009. The purpose of the summer camp was to engage children during long summer holidays in a supervised programme of skill acquisition and self – discovery. The courses offered included physical activities like Tennis, Cricket, Swimming, Tae – Kwon – do and Western Dance as well as life skills such as Personality Development, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Art and Crafts, Instrumental Music, Chess and Dramatics. It taught children how to expand and express their imagination and creativity in an environment of play, making learning fun. The eagerness and the enthusiasm of the children soared as high as the searing outdoor temperature. On the final day, the children exhibited their enhanced skills of self expression, artistry and physical adroitness to a rapt audience of teachers and family members.

26-05-2009 CBSE CLASS X RESULTS 2009.
The School Management congratulates the students, teachers and parents for the excellent Class X CBSE board results 2009. Toppers of the School (Aggregate) 1st Sanya Malik - 90.8%, 2nd Karan Dua - 87.6%, 3rd Alisha Mathew - 86.6%. Subject Wise Highest Marks English - 92% (Alisha Mathew & Anya Joshi), Hindi - 87% (Ankita Choudhary), Maths - 95% (Karan Dua), Science - 92% (Sunny Rhode), Social Science - 94% (Sanya Malik), Sanskrit - 93% (Sanya Malik).

18-05-2009 EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO NAHAN (HIMACHAL PRADESH)
An exciting and adventurous three days camping trip was organized by the school from 11 May 2009 to 14 May 2009 to Rukhri, Himachal Pradesh for the students of classes VII to XII. On reaching, after camp briefing and tent allotment, students participated in the in – camp adventurous activities like Burma Bridge, balancing rods, trekking etc. The boys played volley ball in the splash pool. In the evening everyone enjoyed around the bonfire and danced to the foot tapping numbers played by the D.J. Next morning the students went to Nahan where they had their breakfast at the roof top. Then they proceeded to Renuka Lake and the Zoo. The next day started with a visit to Markanda Temple and then went to visit “Paonta Sahib” where they had langar and enjoyed some time splashing in the river Yamuna. The perfect natural ambience, sumptuous food and adventurous activities made it altogether a memorable experience.

28-04-2009 ACADEMIC PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
The Academic Prize Distribution function of American Montessori Public School was held on 28.04.2009 in the Senior Wing of the school to applaud and award the meritorious students. The function started with the lighting up of the lamp by the chief guest, Mr. S. K. Trehan, Chairman of the School, and the Principal, Mrs. Indu Shastri amidst reciting of shlokas by the Choir Group. Mr. S. K. Trehan blessed the students and bestowed them with Souvenirs and Certificates for Academic and All Round Excellence. Students were also awarded Appreciation Certificates for portraying outstanding personality traits, as well as for categories like Creative and Performing Arts. Mr Trehan congratulated the prize winners and Mrs. Shastri motivated all students to have the drive to excel and believing in themselves. The function came to a close with the school song sung with great enthusiasm and fervour.

22-04-2009 EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS
Earth Day was celebrated in American Montessori Public School on 22nd April 2009. The students highlighted the importance of being responsible citizens and contributing efficiently to make the Earth a beautiful planet. They also participated in the ‘Say No to Plastics’ Campaign at the Shopping Mall Gurgaon organized by an NGO ‘Kids for Gurgaon’. The Principal, Mrs. Indu Shastri stressed on the need for every single individual to join hands to make this initiative successful so as to ensure that the present and future generations have a safe and healthy environment. Their earnest effort was appreciated by one and all.

06-12-2008 ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
The Annual Sports Day of American Montessori Public School was held on 6 Dec 2008 in the Senior Wing of the School. Shri Aslam Sher Khan, Olympian, Member, National Hockey Selection Committee and Former Union Minister was the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest, Mr. Aslam Sher Khan appreciated the talent and hard work of the students and immensely enjoyed the programme. The finals of different races were held followed by the prize distribution. The students presented a number of the items going with the theme of the program - Peace and Harmony. The girls of class XI showed their agile skills by performing aerobics on a foot tapping number. Students of Class III performed a Light Drill using Hoopla and Ball while students of Class II performed the Peace drill. Students of Class I showed their valour and indomitable spirit through the art of self – defence, Tae-Kwon-do. Students of Classes IV and V performed a drill 'Harmony of Colours', Boys of Class XI formed human pyramids, which were spectacular. The students of Class VIII dazzled the audience by performing a well choreographed dance in their vibrant traditional dresses giving the message of peace among all. Classes VI and VII created a Symphony of sound with Dumbells, Lazium and Dandiya while Class IX through Western Dance beautifully portrayed all the activities they learn in the School. The Montessori tiny tots dressed in colourful attire presented a Rhythmic Drill conveying love, unity and oneness among the children all over the world. Their dance on foot tapping numbers made all the feet in the audience dance. The Principal, Mrs. Indu Shastri read the Annual Report of the School and informed the parents about the future plans of the School. The vote of thanks was given by the Chairman, Mr. S K Trehan who thanked the distinguished guests and the gathering and lauded the hard work of the children and the teachers for presenting a wonderful show.

13-08-2008 Inter School Patriotic Group Song Competition
An Inter School Patriotic Group Song Competition was held on 13 Aug 08 in the Montessori Wing. Eight schools participated in the event which had highly melodious patriotic songs sung by various participants. Blue Bells Model School won the trophy while Chiranjeev Bharti School, Palam Vihar was declared the Runner Up.

14-05-2008 Visit to Nainital and Jim Corbett Park.
Students of class V to X went for a trip to Bhimtal, Nainital and Jim Corbett Park from 14-17 May 08. The enthusiastic students enjoyed various activiies like boating in the lakes, trekking in the hills, splashing in the water, visit to the zoo of exotic birds and fun rides in an amusement park.
