At our Arts & Craft Club, we nurture and value the creativity of our students. Students are taught a variety of skills. With a little bit guidance they add vibrancy and colour to their ideas. Their efforts are often recognized and honoured.  This helps in developing the aesthetic consciousness of children from a very early age, as this quality lies at the root of all civilized human endeavour. The development of tolerance for different forms of artistic expression is as important today as the ability to appreciate and create art itself. We foster all these qualities in our students as they learn the following forms of artistic self-expression at different stages of their schooling here:

Computers are an intrinsic part of our daily life. Nothing is really complete without this ‘wonder tool’ now taken for granted by us all. However, to be able to handle these instruments to their optimum, AMPS conducts special classes on ‘Web Designing and Matrix" in different groups for the students of Classes III to VIII to help students empower themselves and use these tools to their best. In these classes, students become proficient in Paint, MS Word and MS PowerPoint, Photoshop and HTML and create presentation, process documents and Web pages. AMPS is well-equipped with latest computers and software.

It aims to improve pedagogy in Mathematics to enhance analytical and critical thinking skills. The learning of Mathematics should be linked with other subjects (physics, chemistry, computer science, economics, etc.) to develop interdisciplinary thinking and practical verification of Mathematical concepts.

“A sound mind lives in a sound body” -  this famous saying has become very applicable in today’s life. Yoga is a science of right living and it works when integrated in our daily life. It truly "shows us the way" as it works on all aspects of the person: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The word yoga means ‘unity’ or ‘oneness’ and is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘yuj’ which means ‘to join’. AMPS conducts regular yoga classes on its premises, grooming our children both physically and mentally. The instructor teaches various yoga asanas and pranayama during the class, and children enthusiastically participate, leading to their enhanced confidence, stamina and powers of concentration.

AMPS offers gardening as well as environmentally sustainable programs as a part of our student activiites. Although the benefits of gardening as a teaching tool are numerous, we have identified 3 core areas in which children’s lives are radically improved: a) they become ready to learn, resilient and responsible, b) they become stronger, more active learners capable of thinking independently and adapting their skills and knowledge to new challenges and c) they develop the ability to work and communicate with people of all ages. Our aim is to make AMPS' campus as eco-friendly as possible, reducing, recycling and reusing as much as we can. The School also engages in water harvesting and composting on its premises.
